It seems to me, and correct me if I'm wrong.. Somebody always has to chip in some smart ass comment when someone harvests a once in a lifetime animal. "the Garmin issue". Someone always out there trying to show the world just how smart they are.. I don't often say much on here, but this kinda crap gets under my skin.. Hell of a job Jess

I think the guy was just trying to be informative. Would suck to have a record book animal and then have it not counted over something silly.

Jesse doesn't give a shit about being in some stinkin record books. All he cares about is the chase. Good job Jesse!

Jackel what are you going to do with it?! that would make a rug that wouldnt fit on most walls, but then again it would make a huge mount. would be even sicker if you have a nice buck to do a life size and have the lion takeing it down.

Nice job. That is one heck of a cat. I hope who you use to fix it up does good work. I got super picky over my cats and they were nothing like yours. B/T was just bringing the tracking collar thing to your attention. Something I didn't know about till a year or so back. My dogs will have collars on them every time they hit the woods, not that I have to worry about catching a 200+ lb cat any time soon. Congrats, very cool!

You guys all think the 225 pound mark is big. Jesse brings home women on a regular basis that stretch that scale way past 225! I think he's hit capacity on the scale once or twice before.

That is an outstanding tom. Great going.
I am really confused as this is a NM lion and I see alot of so called old toms shown on this site from NM that on a real scale would not weigh 125lbs. I have a tough time believing there is such a huge diffence it seems theer are a few people shooting rats . That is an awesome catch for even this north country.
Congratulations.
