When we get to the track i get the dogs ready to go! I put my lil plott female Princess down first and she starts going crazy and off she goes the i drop Daisy another plott female and Dora the explora is off and they are raising hell going down the canyon screaming echos howl through the canyon as the dogs get to the other side of the canyon i hear treeing so i look at ol handy dandy Garmin and sure enough Daisy Dora and princess are all on the tree! So i make a hurry effort to the tree so i can see this cat that has made me loose sleep for yrs.When i got to the tree he was every bit as big as i thought he was massive head feet and body i looked and was amazed how big he was! I couldnt help but gather my pack of dogs and give them a well deserved pat on the head and a good job! Soon after i get there my to friends get there and are all looking up at this giant of a lion! After much talk we decied that my neighbor that found the track get to harvest this lion and ol winchester 30/30 rowared and down came the cat but he wasnt going down without a fight the dogs bayed him up down the canyon and had a battle to the death! No dogs were hurt in this outing!
Im trying to post some pics of this big boy so bare with me! Got to give thanks to the Lord On this one for helping me get this lion after yrs of waiting for him! I guess patience does pay off because it was worth the wait! Hope u enjoy the story! Jesse Medina
