What cold nosed strains and what north? I'm not sure I understand what your referring to here. Look at the majestics being bred now I might be wrong but their heritage claims Lee bros hounds as a important part of their foundation. North just doesn't translate to colder nosed hounds being the norm. The lay dogs are used as a example of coldnosed dogs up north. And there's a few others but its not the average.

I havnt been on this site in a few years how has the progress on these gascon dogs whos running these big white dogs in north america and catching game.
