Once you have the final entries. Open the Calcutta to private message or phone bids for one week, no public bidding. Who gets highest bid on each combo get it, Whoever wins gets the money from the Calcutta. A lot easier just for one payout.

I told Mark that his Blue looked pregnant but he said he just fed her????

David and Carey, I wish you both luck on getting the Dogs here and in the contest! I said Dogs, because I hope to see 2 Clays Hounds in this. And that means Carey got his Dads Dogs back!!
Good luck Carey!!!!

Well I can't ask anymore questions and looks like everyone is satisfied now. So I plan on having a handler go to the tree and when/if I decide to go, I want to be picked up the easiest way back if possible.

Just one more question  Merlo got me thinking!!! With my luck I'll get after one of those "Tuff" one's. Can I turn in a fresh Dog if the race goes over 2 or 3 hrs.?
Of course I'd pick up the first Dog!
Is that good enuff MARK!! :joker

OK< just so you can tell I am actually thinking about this: Here is what I dont have and will need: 1. a wheel chair. 2. some one to push me over the edge in it down to the tree. 3. some one to push me back up out of there. Maybe a zip line would be better, with a winch to winch me out of there. 4. I dont even have a dog box any more. and he will need something to rig off of. 5. will need a bell for old Chocktaw so I can find him. because even if I had one of those TV things you young kids stare at nowadays, I wouldnt have a clue how to use it. 6. A hearing aid so I can hear Chocktaw's bell. 7. Some one to pull my truck out every time i put the front wheels over the edge because my vision aint that good anymore. That is just for starters.

I really do need to know what I have to carry for a license. I am hoping Oregon does not have the reciprocal law, because North Dakota does not allow non-residents to hunt their non-bobcats. Anybody know off hand? I will try to look it up.

once i get all that worked out, my main concern will be missed work. The dog does not know me from Adam. I would want to spend some time with him before hand. If I can rationalize myself through that little maze, I should be good to go. It is going to take a para-dime shift, but maybe it is time for one of those.

I think I found it. I need the Oregon nonresident fur takers license. It allows hunting and pursuing. Does not mention any reciprocity with other states, so I think we are in.

David, as far as I can tell, that's all you'd need. I've looked into it before and think that would cover it. Too bad they don't have a pursuit only license. I think you and ole Choctaw will do just fine.

David, if you get Choctaw and your paper work to be able to enter .. I got everything you don't have and wanted, but the Wheel Chair! How about a stretcher and a power saw winch??

When I was in N-D about 3 yrs ago. I seen (6) door pickups.. Maybe Mark will buy one so we can all ride together?? :D

This should satisfy both you whiny guys. Ground clearance and hat clearance, bought the yellow one off a Texas dove hunter.
