Well 2 pups made it out of this litter a male ( my buddy took) and this female I kept(the others got ran over by the fire truck). Her name is Lilly. And she is cranking it up. She is tracking very nice and a everybreath tree dog. I look forward to running her on bear this year.
She is the small pup on the right. The other pup ( Dark one) is out of my Star dog and the same father as Lilly. Deuce

I was just reading on the PKC forum about how they just did a Lipper litter from frozen semen. Lipper was born in 1981. Some of these hounds that guys love (like Bozo) sure would be cool if there was semen on hand huh?! Guess guys should collect the ones they are liking today too...never know what the future holds and when you'll want that pure semen from the source.

Guys were talking about the price of these 10 Lipper pups....Nobody said a # but I betcha it's alot more than most guys pay for broke biggame hounds! Should be neat to follow them.

Not hijacking your post Devin, was just reading and it got me thinking about trying to get these old dogs blood as much as possible and the old Lipper litter got me thinking.

Brady, I was into the LIPPER Breeding for alot of years. My Buddy and I went in on a pup directly out of Lipper and a Lipper female and we were on a waiting list for 2 years and paid $2000 for the pup.
Anyone that collects their proven stud dog with some good breeding, it will be like money in the bank.
I have 2 of my own Stud dogs collected now.

Aint that the truth. Not to mention with todays technology and storing/collection methods the shelf life is WAY longer. We could be using todays sperm 50 years from now. Crazy to think .
