A lot of lion were shot in a short space of time and we tracked the cats that were wounded with my hounds and took some pictures. All the documentation is complete and correct and permits were issued.
Roy Sparks.
If he is right, then no one on here needs to worry themselves with it any longer.
If he is wrong...then he probably wouldn't be cooking dinner for his church social right now.

Just take a minute to think things over without a new comment.
Look at the consiquences for some of the actions and reactions here.
First, until those so eager to stand up for this Roy Sparks guy, how many of you have hunted Africa with hounds and or been on Safari there ????
Likey very few if any of you...
I have been there, hunted and conducted hunting trips in Africa for close to 30 years back when Zimbabwe was Rhodeisa during the bush wars .
I'm not jelious in the least, I have had an amazing career and have seen how it has been getting more attention from the antis when this type of activity gets into the hands of those that want to close all hunting down not just hound hunting.
Let me remind all of those who have not seen the light yet...
Namibia a country that is very dependent upon tourisum and hunting dollars for it's economy closed the hunting of leopard with hounds last season... Calif. Oregon, Montana and others have also closed hound hunting on one or more animals for various reasons.
Why?????
If your not listening you'll likely see it here in the US sooner than you want.
Like I said I am about finished with my hunting career , ready to take up golf but there are alot of you guys out there that have alot to loose and if you don't open your eyes they WILL blind side you and not look back in their efforts to continue.
Thunderhorn there was no hound hunting for leopard of any formal manner with paying clients till I " Roy Sparks " took the first step here in South Africa - illegally I might add. I then introduced it to Zimbabwe revolutionising leopard hunting there. I then introduced it to Namibia as well. All those doing it have merely been following in my footsteps. Many older houndsmen before me who had great advantages over me could have initiated this years in advance of me but failed to have the boldness or vision. Outfitters who detest me do so in envy as I probably have refused to work for them or they can't get me to bend the rules or they simply cannot afford my services. Other competing houndsmen here in Africa dont like me because they cant shape up - quite a natural human trait.I have emailed Roy Sparks ,I know and have hunted with African PH's who detest this guy for the very reason he is on this forum...
It may be in your best interest to find out just who guys like Roy Sparks truly are before you go to bat for them.
Good Luck to all of you, and I hope I never have to return to this fourm to say "I told you so".
