Thanks for the advice Guys. I have done all of the software upgrades for both the unit and the collars a couple of weeks ago so it can't be that. I have tried the normal antennae on the Astro as well as their roof mount antenna and it makes no difference. My guess is that something has gone wrong inside the unit that is affecting its ability to receiv the radio signal. It does oick it up for the first 80m and then loses it altogether. A bit like the telemetary units, they will pick up the collars for a short distance with no aerial attached but lose it pretty quickly. I guess I am going to have to send it back. Its a bloody pain as I need it every weekend. I contacted Garmin here in Australia and they directed me to the Garmin site in North America with an email address of 'product.support@garmin.com'. I haven't received any reply from them. Can anyone check in America what the email address is as the Contact Us page on their website does not work if you try the Nth American option and the guy I spoke to here wasnt very confidant.
Thanks
Bodi

Re: Garmin Astro Review
I just called them their customer service sucks too. Sounds like the same thing mine was doing (both of them) Their phone number is 1-913-397-8200 if that helps. Good luck to you.
