Anyone run bobcats in NC, TN or VA?

Just curious if anyone here hunts bobs in these states. With the warmer weather the past few yrs, alot of hunts would be dry ground.

Let me know which of these states you are chasing bobs in.
I'd like to look into starting with some cat dogs in the near future. Would hunt VA and NC.

That great, we used to leave VT and drive 460 up to Brush Mtn, go right and ride that muddy ridgetop rd with our trucks and jeeps. Can you still ride through there?

Nice bear! I went to VT, so spent a good bit of time around Christiansburg. Do you hunt the Jefferson NF? Any of the other bears larger?

Moving to NC Coast:Need some help

Anybody on here live in or near Columbus County, NC? I'm taking a new job there with the Division of Forestry as a forester and will be relocating in January.
Looking for some bear hunters to fall in with...I'm not new to bear hunting but am new to hounding them. Been learning a little up in VA ...

Good looking bear, have you got a good hunt story to go with it?? Just love hearing details since I'm stuck here in GA and can't get after the bears.

Do you think WV bears are harder to put up a tree because your training season is yr round? Been wondering about that.

Looks like some thick country...I've only been in the Appalachians and Blue Ridge of VA, GA, and the Carolinas.

What is the topography like up there?

Love the pics, sure wish I lived up that way. We've got plenty of bears here in NE GA but no dog season in this area.

Your right, you don't need camo. Guess I thought it would help if the dogs had a bear bayed, I could sneak in better on him.
Mainly though, my cold weather clothes are my camo.
