They just had a lion hunt the other day on Tom Miranda's show. I believe it was in Utah with Scott Swenson. I bet producing hound hunting shows are much more difficult than most other types of hunting shows, especially if it's done at night. They wouldn't appeal to a mass audience either.

Charlie,

Give me a call. 550-6452. Trying to figure out what to do this weekend. Don is not hunting Sat. so I'm trying to find a group to go with. Sadie is coming in heat so I'm down to esentially two dogs. On a side note, I found out you were hunting with my Logan County contact on Wed.

I ran one last Wed, but lost it when they hit the top of the ridge where it dried up. Been pretty warm and unseasonably dry up until now. I heard of a local group who had a bad sow tear up 3 of their dogs, one got it real bad, can't hardly walk without falling over.

I have some kenneled and some on tie-outs. The kennels are nice as far as reducing parasites (and they just look better), but the tie-outs keep the dogs in better shape when not running. I plan on fencing a large area at some point, but we may be moving and don't want to invest in that until we ...

Alright, that's it. I can't take it anymore. If the creeks don't rise my dogs are gonna chase something this weekend even if it's a car.

I would not buy a dog without a trial, even if i had seen the dog before.you never know if it will get along with your dogs or not.and some people dont want to run a dog there selling alone

Larry,

Those are my feelings exactly. Hell, it might not even get along with you. Some dogs only hunt for ...

How many would.......

Theoretically speaking how many out there would consider purchasing a very expensive finished dog, or even a not so expensive finished dog, without a trial period? I, personally, would never even consider spending thousands on a dog without a trial, but was curious as to what everyone else thought ...

We don't have a spring season. As far as the date of the early season I'm not really sure. It looks like it will be in September, but they haven't implemented the new regs yet. They will do that next month.

Darvin,

It's not going to happen anyway so it's really a non-issue. The bigger problem with the way WV handled the early season was that only 4 counties in the entire state were open for it. So you had every bear hunter in the state along with the out of state hunters jammed into those 4 counties ...

I'll agree residents only , not to make anyone mad but if their only opening a few counties theres not enough room for everybody. It's bad enough now on opening day of our Dec. hunt tring to track your dogs let alone putting everybody on the eastern seaboard into 15 counties.

You're going to have a hard time finding out her breeding based soley on her physical appearance, at least with any certainty. Could be anything really.
