Hearing problem
Modern electronics are sensational! They enable me to stay as close as possible to my hounds. But, I still have problems hearing them at times. I have a modern set of hearing aids, they are a help, but don't always solve my problem. Wondered if anyone has had any experience with "hearing amplifiers ...

Re: What options to include on custom truck box
Just a suggestion, we have had some damage to our collar antennas from using expanded metal. The antenna goes through the diamond shaped opening and gets pulled into the "v". We use 2x4 galvanized bull panels. The openings are square and the rods are about 1/4". We also, don't have to worry as much ...

Collar antenna support replacement?
Having trouble with antenna supports tearing up. Will replacing them with tape or shrink wrap or maybe bicycle inner tube harm anything or have bad effect on reception? Any suggestions?

Re: Bring back horse dog food slaughter houses to this country?
I care! Our government is mis-spending millions of our tax dollars capturing, feeding, and sentencing lnnocent animals to life without parole! Unadoptable horses are held in confinement, until natural death! I think death for them is freedom. Let there carcass be used, and free, their soul to go to ...

Re: Selling dogs
An honest difference, of oplnlon, or level of tolerance for faults, can sometimes, cause hard feelings, or even worse, questions about ones honesty and integrity. No one ever appreciates either. I decided several years ago to stop trying to sell hounds. Never did sell very many anyway. Always ...

Re: Solid Black?
About 60 years ago, as a boy, I remember a pair of solid black hounds owned by one of my Dads hunting friends. He had ordered them from Kentucky. I don't remember any thing about their performance only their looks. Later, read about a strain, or breed of foxhound named Calhoun foxhounds, bred in Ky ...

Re: Breeding. Raising, starting, culling
Hey Scrubrunner, glad you are having some good running. Did you get any rain, early this week? We spent the weekend in North Fl. Hunted some, no luck, too dry. It sprinkled some on us, coming home, Monday. You mentioned " getting old" , to quote my dear old Dad, "getting old ain't for sissies, but ...
