Took my dogs out to Bone, Idaho area to run some coon. Turnes dogs lose and the B&T strikes a track, the bluetick sets sail also. I come up and see 2 :shock: BIG EYES
, I think this is on big coon but its a COUGAR, just growling at the dogs.. i just rope em in and go back to the truck...

got a yr old dog that I got several wks ago and he takes food out of his bowl and buries uner the straw with his nose???is this something or just ignore....

was in pasture to shut gates to keep horses from crossing ditch, has my springer spaniel with me and the neighbors lab, they jumped a bobcat just past the gate and chased him till he hit willows and crossed hog wire fence which stopped the pooches.. I wonded what my springer was going to do when/id ...

scat is a lot more from griz than blackie..
griz scat usually it smells of pepper spray.

neighbors who back up to our land woke up sunday am to find a mt lion asleep on back porch and it had eaten half bag of dog food they kept back thier for the pooch.. just something interesting...

put straw in and the dogs willl stay warm, pack it in and let the dogs root around they will knock excess out. I have also used cedar shavings in the bottom-it does repel insects ie fleas, ticks etc..
