Re: Idaho Houndsmen need your help
Hyde, that is exactly what we need, people to take action, thank you. Letters and phone calls to commissioners and F&G biologists, petitions, what ever it takes to let them know we need some help.

Re: Idaho Houndsmen need your help
A lot of good thoughts and opinions, I hope everyone is relaying them to the F&G.
Dennis I agree " power is in the numbers" and we need to do all we can to get some changes made. Great post by the way.
Hyde which part of the state are you in?
Imchesnut according to the F&G biologist they don't ...

Re: URGENT UTAH NEWS
Great analogy HoundDawg! And I thought the Idaho F&G were the only ones perfecting their wildlife mis management skills. Sounds like the Utah biologists took the same 2 week online course in wildlife management.

Re: Idaho Houndsmen need your help
Idaho, I agree, the Fish and Game here says it's part of the Mule Deer Initiative. Their own extensive, expensive predator study even states that predators don't play the role in the deer problems that they always claim. So basically they don't know what is going on with the cat populations but ...

Idaho Houndsmen need your help
I don't know about the northern part of the state but in the southeast units our cats are hurting badly. I along with other local Houndsmen have been calling the Fish and game expressing our concerns and asking them to lower the female quotas in hopes of helping people be a little more selective and ...

Re: Where did you get your hound?
I won't claim to have owned as many dogs as most, or be any kind of expert, but
personally I have had good luck with Lightning Ridge Kennels ( Mr. PacoJack). He has done his homework and is honest about what he has. Three out of the four dogs we have got from his breeding stock have made top shelf ...

Re: What's wrong with people?
Hunter, sounds like your beating a dead horse but you deserve kudos for keeping your cool and trying to educate this guy. I know I would have a heck of a time not flying off the handle with that type of mentality. I always try and treat others with the respect that I would like to be shown, seems to ...

Josht I would not go more than a few seconds. I got some bad info the first time I did ears with nitrogen and believe me I felt like a real dumb a@#. Live and learn I guess, but ya ears are thin and delicate 3-4 seconds.
