He had a calf kill the game commission came in and killed that lion but gave him a depredation license to say sorry that he lost a calf. The thing is the tags only good for 30 days. How cold is too cold?
I'm just wondering I heard a guy say oncve that anything below 5 degrees is going to kill your dog. So I am wondering is there a certain temp where it is to cold to hunt a dog I live in NE and we have bad wind chill so does that factor in too?

Mountain lion hunting in Colorado?
For a few years now I have been wanting to get over to Colorado and hunt lions for a few days. I finally think I have an opportunity to do it this year and I am just curious. Running both bears and lions?
Just curious but you see these guys that run both lions and bears with their dogs especially the outfitters. Do they use separate dogs for bear and lions or the same dogs and the dogs just understand the change in the season means a change in game?

How many dogs???
I'm no bear hunter but I like to learn. I was just wondering how many dogs do most of you guys consider safe to run bear with I mean I know there's always accidents and bears will kill dogs but obviously the less dogs the more likely the bear is to kill the dogs. So I am just wondering 3, 4, or more?

So even if I had two hounds it would probably make a huge difference than just running one?
