Over here the population is increasing rapidly now, and i think we will have a season for them soon to prevent damage on the reindeer's. Sure looking forward to it, another game legal to run is always a big step forward..!

Thanks guys. We don't have a season here for them so pretty few guys have any experience... Talked to a guy who's moose-dog treed one, it crapped and urinated all over the dog from the tree and that guy sure hopes the dog never tree one again...

Anyone ran a wolverine?
Had my first wolverine race a few days ago, snow was so bad dogs couldn't put any pressure to it but it was just walking as fast as needed to stay ahead, caught the dogs to save their feet after just one hour. Anyone who has experience with these animals?

There is quite a few ursus plotts here in sweden, thoose owned by hunters that have the opportunity to put them on enough bears (one bear every other year wont give a dog a fair chance really) shows a high percentage of sucess in hunting brown bears. I would be interested in swapping a hunt if possible. I do some guiding for scandinavian brown bear with hounds, that means vicious bears bayed up at it`s best or else a bear running in front of the hounds... :wink: Our quota is limited so you would not have a chance to pass a small bear for a ...

Thanks! I use Garmin astro..! :) Tracker makes a gps tracker that needs cell-phone coverage, as long as you have that the range is unlimited but you dont get the live updates as in the garmin. Hard to say wich is the best, but garmin is so FUN..! Its my best toy ever! :) I use a plott and foxhounds ...

Pegleg- Thanks! yep, it might sound a little funny but in my (and i guess the others as well) case it is because scandinavians have bred away from grit and guts for +20 years since we had no big predators for a long period of time.
