Marking garmin collars

Anyone have any good ideas for marking your collars on the factory straps? Just got another DC50 and wanted to mark it apart. Did the dayglow route on the 30s but figured it could start some new discussion while we wait for bear season.

Wolf compensation

I lost my best dog to a wolf attack week before last. It really set me back both emotionally and as far as my hunting goes. Has anyone considered some type of class action against the Defenders of Wildlife or HSUS or the likes?

Mostly a rhetorical question, but we know they would not hesitate.

Re: Cage trap

Some use 1/2" square tubing with one side cut out or you might try window frame. A glass shop can order it in different sizes and its a whole lot easier.

Thinking about getting a horse or mule, need help

So I've been thinking about taking the leap into hunting from a horse or mule. I finally have access to a ranch to keep it on, I hunt usually 2-3 days a week from August thru May and have very limited riding experience. There are some spots that aren't too rough I think I'm confident with some ...

Re: Thanksgiving Hunt 3

I don't know the answer to breaking them, other than lots of electro therapy, but if you get it figured out, let us know. My dogs have a hard time avoiding them and my mutts are not very gritty, always seem to get the worse end from those saber toothed skunks!

Re: size of your hounds

Big dogs eat more and have more poop, take up more space in the box. Smaller dogs are the opposite but sometimes have a little more challenge in the rocks and bluffs. I wouldn't discount a dog on size, more on brains and feet like driftwood said. I have both and get grief for my big one, but he is a ...
