WANTED:Allinfo to fight against HSUS and other organizations

Alright guys I was just thinking...there are millions and million of members on myspace and facebook. That would be a great source to use to educate the public about what is really going on and the real intentions of the HSUS. That video that was posted gave me the idea.

So I am requestion some help from everyone on the board. I am willing to spend the time to make a facebook and myspace page but I would like it if you guys could give me all the info possible to post on the pages.

I will be posting the video on the pages as well as links to the missourifac web page but i will need a lot more info to page a complete page. so bring it on. Lets get this going!

Also I was considering adding info about the houndsmen and posting pictures of how we truely do care for our animals and take excellect care of them.

Any and all suggestions will be taken serious so lets hear what you guys think. Also if anyone wants to help or do something just let me know.

there's so much bs going on with them theres the alabama group on the net fighting them and alot of animal groups aswell we should find as many groups as possible to help and if a houndsmen was willing to put the time in and be involved it would insure we're not left sucking hind tit. honestly just posting the truth would be a huge step as hsus is anti animal all the way and all they're about is using grannies emotions to scam her outa her money. no intentions of helping any animal. they are a legislative group the more shit they stir the better they are. talk to local guys trappers ranchers farmers petshop owners dog and pet show people livestock four h etc. if we had a national chapter we could get a few spokes people that could travel and represent us at the grassroots level where a lot of the success could be had look at how effective schools are for spreading messages.

I back pegleg on his thoughts.We are in the process of reviving our National Houndsmens Association for the same reasons. I am sure we would be happy to be affiliated to an international body once we are up and running. I believe we should invite all stakeholders to become members even if they are based on other continents.

Take Safari Club International as an example and look at their membership and backing, no reason we can't have a similar organisation running. I am willing to become involved.

Let me know how I can be of any help. It's no use hiding they know about us lets take the fight to them.Don't for one minute believe that in negotiating with these organisations it will satisfy them, that is the anti - groups.

The South African Professional Hunters Association ( PHASA ) went that route and we houndsmen were led to the scafold and sacrificed to appease the demands of NSPCA The next move was our PHASA realising Namibia now was an imminent threat in the leopard hunting market as they still allowed the use of hounds used their persuasive coniving tactics to convince the Namibian Professional Hunters Association to adopt the same stance toward houndsmen, which they did in short order.

Just to put you in the picture if you ever intend coming on a hunting trip to South Africa or Namibia for whatever game and irrespective of if you want to use hounds or not - there are a number of us avid houndsmen that not only hunt with hounds but who are fully licensed Outfitters and Professional Hunters who can set up any other type of hunting these other hunters offer. The hunts will be totally legal as well, we are not confined to just the hunts we offer over our hounds, we are Nationally registered PH's and Outfitters.

Before you book a Hunting Safari, if you are a true houndsman support us Houndsmen in Africa in letting us set up your hunting requirements for you. I appeal to you to not support any hunting company in either Namibia or South Africa that has no connection to hounds and that have assisted to compromise our livelihood as Houndsmen.Please spread this as far and wide to your clients that may want to hunt in Africa , that is those of you who are guides.Those of you who may personally want to come hunt here , know that these two ( Hunting Organisations ) were the number one role players in getting leopard hunting with hounds banned.

If you are or a buddy or client of yours wants to or is in the process of planning a trip out here you are welcome to get hold of me in respect of finding out the credentials of the hunting outfitt. I have been an outfitter since 1987 so I'm in the know of whats going on.

These are both good sites.. But I am obviously behind the pace because both of these organizations already have facebook pages.
