Had a few words with a couple of young lady's a few years ago that were protesting calf roping at the entrance to the Reno Rodeo, they were there with signs on how cruel the calf roping was, in there leather sandals and leather purse's on the ground next to there empty bags from McDonald's, I started the conversation off by asking them what they had for lunch to see if they had 1/4 pounders and they had, and when I started in (very politly ) on how and where there food, purses and foot ware had come to be, and all they could do is pack up and leave.

I can respect dedication to there beliefs if they really had dedication,

i run a cattle ranch and to see shit like that makes me sick, people are so stupied to even think that meat comes from the store. they just have no brains, i think all school children and some adults should be recomended to go to a ranch to see how there meat is grown and then they should go to the butcher and see how the meat is processed,they just might change there way of thinking, ( i doubt it).

my family raises angus beef and we always have friends or friends of friends by the steers live from us and then we either butcher and quarter it for them or they do it themselves. This is the best way to ensure your beef is as natural and safe as possible. No hormones, or unnecessary vaccinations and grained only as much as you prefer (my preference is 45 to 60 days of grain)
