I think this was in South America with some cowboys protecting a ranch from predators. They must not have access to firearms. Horses, hogs, lions.

Os' Gauchos
Those guys are hunting the Patagonia. They dont worry about anybody taking away their hunting privelages. They are just as wild as the animals they hunt. In that part of the world they are where we were about 60 years ago or more. Out in the Mato they have no electricity, or running water. Some of the big ranches have some of those things but the hired help usually dont enjoy those luxuries. They have big storage tanks on top on their houses to collect rain water but that is only in a few areas. I spent some time down in this area, although these men are probably even more south than I was. Them Gauchos are real tough. Out in the small towns away from the cities the woman still use their wood cook stoves to cook with and wash clothes with wash boards and creek water. They take their baths a couple of times a week with water they haul to the house. Many of them guys use hounds for hunting but in this clip it looked like they used their breed Dogo Argentino which is white in color and looks alot like a pit bull only quite a bit bigger on average and of course some mixed up mutts. If things get to tough here as far as hunting goes I just might skip the country and head that way. No doubt we as americans would miss our day to day luxuries but we would also experience a new freedom down their, one not everybody could handle.
they CHOOSE not to use guns. i know a guy down there that breeds the dogos, he is a surgeon and he hunts & dresses the same way. here is a link to his kennel site
