Very good Job on the video!
Do you always leave your dogs loose when you shoot the cat? Seem like a good way to get some vet bills! On the other hand it a good way to get a young dogs amped up on lions.

Re: Video of the 2nd Day Lion...
No question that not tying back has its risks, and i'd say we've been fortunate not to have anything too major happen. These dogs have been through the drill many times and especially when they catch one up in the bluffs, they learn where the sharp parts on a lion are and do a pretty good job of staying out of the way. They definitely get caught, but as soon as one gets wrapped up the whole pack jumps in and it doesn't last long....I have an awesome video of that exact scenario...its not a public viewable clip thoughR.M. wrote:Very good Job on the video!

Seeing the cat and dog fight really caught my eye because I just had two dogs get a little cut up by a cat. I thought they were both going to be fine, but I ended up having to take them both to a vet because they got infections! Do you give your dogs anything to prevent infections? Thanks,

We have a stock pile of penicillin, as well as injectable antibiotics... they're a must! Having a good Vet is also a must.

It does...but when I uploaded the video and edited it the stabalizing is exagerrated slighty it seems, almost giving it a shaky look. Its clear, but would be much better with a shoulder mount or something to kee it steadier especially while walking...liontracker wrote:I was wondering if that vid cam had an internal stabilizer or not?

The penicillin is not injectible? Where do you get it? And when or how do you decide to use it? Thanks again,ChasinTail wrote:We have a stock pile of penicillin, as well as injectable antibiotics... they're a must! Having a good Vet is also a must.
