INNOTEK TRACKING SYSTEM

Post by BEAR HUNTER »

Hey just picked up a used innotek 400 tracking system. It's the kind that picks up 216-220 freq. Not real impressed with it. Anyone had any experience with them?

It was working fine. I was able to tune my Johnson and wildlife collars with it. The next day I cant get the beep to sound right. The collars work good on my wildlife 1000. Dont know if I broke it somehow or what. Any suggestions?

Moving your gain adjustment just a little will make your beep sound different.

I've been messing with it and still dont like it. If I am within a 1/4 mile of a collar I cant get a clear beep no matter how I tune it. When I get further away it starts to beep. Wouldnt recommend this system.

This was the first system I bought. I bought it used. I have since gotten Klein collars and antenna, and a Quick track box. Glad I did. Batteries wouldn't last, unit would turn on when bumped, hard to tune, and remember where it was at for each collar, overall just a PITA.
