Best State to Hunt Lion?
I'm looking for jobs in other states so I can get out of California, but I want to go somewhere I'll have more opportunities to hunt with my hounds.Any suggestions?

Probably Utah has the most opportunities to hunt lions year around.

Thanks guys, Utah was what I was thinking too. I just applied for a job with the BLM in Utah but they also had openings in MT and ID.

There are several throughout the state. Same in MT and ID. Is there an area in particular I should be looking for? I'm not sure if I'll even get it. I have more experience than required, but no education above High School. My only chance is my Military Preferance.

No, but southern Utah will allow you to access north Arizona as well.

I believe one opening was near Moab.

moab has the best bear huntin in the state in my opinion. I've heard threre's good lions too. If you make it to so utah give me a hollar 435-668-0161. good luck.

Utah good lion hunting? Not hardly!! To many kitten and female killers in this state to keep a stable lion population here.
