coyote packs

Has anyone seen large packs of coyotes ? I've seen in the early fall where the young of the year are still with the female ,but around winter it seems they disperse . What are your thoughts on this ?

I know where I grew up we would see packs of five or six together on the alfalfa circles.

The winter is when they pair up for breeding. Those pups better disperse if they know what's good for them.
