Alright. If this has been covered already point me to the posts. I couldn't find it in the search. I am getting a garmin. All my buddys say that they don't get out real well hear and they carry the antanna that mounts on your truck for range. They don't do much walking but, I do and I don't want to carry that big long S.O.B. in my pack so I been looking around. I found a "Folding Antanna". It's surposed to fold up and fit in your carry case and increase your range by atleast 25%. Does anyone use this one and if so does it help and is it cheap made....i.e will it break easy? What problems have you all found with this one.
Thanks. Hunter.

i really like mine, i use it almost every day, either it be from running coons at nite or bears and yotes in the day. i really never lose reception all that often. today i was still picking up my hounds at 1.8 miles away while running bear.
