Garmin dc-30 batteries
Anyone having problems with the batteries? i have a collar i bout about a year ago and i don't think it will take a charge. i put it on the charger all night and the light comes on and tells me it's charging but in the morning the light is still on and turn the collar on and the astro tells me the battery is low on that collar. i don't know how much more of these things i can take finacially. they are great to use but it seems every other week i am spending a bunch of money to fix something that isn't that old or my fault that it went bad.

I have had that same trouble. Try cleaning the terminals on the coller with alcohal and a Q-tip also try a differant charger
Re: Garmin dc-30 batteries
had that happen last weekend turned out the charger was bad.
if it is the battery that is bad, you can try your luck with the $15 ones that you can buy off ebay but i think they are coming from somewhere on the other side of the planet so who knows what you will end up with. but if it works out, sure beats paying the 50 bucks they list for.

Had the same problem. A buddy told me how to fix it as he talked to garmin about it. Take the unit apart (four screws on the neck side of collar) unplug the battery for ten to twenty minutes. Plug it in and that should reset the battery. If this doesn't work you need a new battery. Hope that helps.
