That looks like a lot of fun, Will those coyotes run for a long chase? I have never messed with hounds and coyots before but I would like to get into it a little do you have any ideas for a beginer, thanks

yes, yote chases can go for a long time. just for 1 example, my one male ran from 7.45 am till 4.15 pm one chase this season. my gps had him covering 38.45 miles, we saw the yote plenty of times, just no shots. on some other days the hounds will catch them quick. if you`d like to learn more or see alot of other breeds in action, just click the link below & go to the message board. it`s a yote-hound hunting site, plus alot more.

Thanks , that is a good web also. I was wondering what you thought I have just moved to alberta and there is coyotes everyplace but the are out in the hay medows alot and I have trouble getting close enough to get a shot but if I had some dogs would they hold up or run for a long chase, Im just trying to figure out how it works, Thanks

What breed of hound do you normally run in the pics they look like Redbones.I wish I had more open ground I would love to run those babies.Thanks for sharing "GREAT" photos...cooter

cooter, they are redbones. i have some for yotes & bears and some for just coon. i also have one walker for coon, but i keep that holstein at my buddies house.
