Sucks about those collars Jim. I'm back on the mainland now and have to get the rest of mine taken care of. One of the 3 i sent to Midway does not act right. Had a tree switch when it left but does not now otherwise seems fine. The people at Midway are amazingly friendly, cooperative and easy to work with, I just can't say that i have the highest confidence in the collars i got back from them. Just because the one came back the way it did.

Did you all do any good in the last week?

My quick tracks were under warranty so it only cost me shipping.

Charlie,

Glad to hear you mae it back. How's married life? Hell, I couldn't even find one to run in Kanawha or Boone County. Started a few ice cold tracks that went nowhere. We hunted up in Webster County for a few days and did pretty well with the snow on. Tack (my Rock pup) finally started running something..............deer! I gave him to Don. Got tired of messing with him and I have too many young dogs anyway. He may make a dog yet, but I'm just tired of him. If he works out I can still breed to him. Finally got access to the area in Boone that I wanted so hopefully next season I'll have learned my way around. Good looking bear country. Give me a call when you get a chance.

Jim
