48 days till California Bear Season...

48 more days until bear season and deer season here in California. Anyone getting both tags or just the bear tag. I got only the bear but you never know if your dog is gonna jump a deer.

That's this weekend. I'll be damn. Still waiting for my rifle though. Just purchased a Marlin XL7 in .270. So I might get it on the 20th. I'll check out A Zone. Thank you partner.

I only get bear tags... Wish I didn't even have to get those! They are always a waste of money, seeing as we tag something once every 2-3 years.

Like its been said, A zone opens this weekend. Its always such a rat race, and HOT. The dogs are never in good enough shape either, LOL. But for those crazy enough, its fun to get out a few weeks early.

We Keep are dogs in shape by running them in the training zones here in Calif. during the summer and a few runs to Nevada.

Just a reminder for all of you running a zone...watch out for buzz worms! Those dirty bastards are thick this year. I had one slither into my dog kennel this year and bite one of my best dogs in the face. They are always bad this time of year by Pillsbury so be careful.
