Sign up deadline is 6am sept. 18 at the Zinc creek bridge. (Don Gilbert will post directions later)
Fun honest hunt.
2 points for every bobcat caught
2 points for every fox caught
1 point for other
Dated picture or video for proof of catch required.
$25.00 for non OUSDA members
$20.00 for OUSDA members (show OUSDA card for proof of membership)

This will be the second time we have done this hunt. the first time was a BLAST! In fact Colbolt placed second place with Dave W. They took home a couple hundred buck!

I'm talking with the forest service about reserving Bouder Creek Camp Ground for this event. I will post more this evening.

FIRST ANNUAL PURSUIT HUNT

This is how it works:
• You and a partner check in by 5am.
• You and your partner tree and take pictures of legally treed game with a date stamp camera.
• Bring your camera back to camp a get your points.

Cost:
$20 for OUSDA members.
$25 for non-members.

Payout:
40/60 split with club for first place.

POTLUCK DINNER ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON STARTING AT 4PM AT THE ZINC CREEK BRIDGE.

• Check-in time will be no later than September the 18th at 5am. at Zinc Creek Bridge.
• Check-in time for the end of the hunt will be no later than Sunday September the 19th at 3pm.

Directions to Zinc Creek Bridge sign in location


I-5 North or South to Canyonville Oregon

From Main Street Canyonville turn East onto Tiller Trail Hwy Rd. #227 to Tiller Oregon
(Look for sign)

Past Tiller Store turn left onto South Umpqua Rd. # 28 heading towards South Umpqua Falls. (Look for sign)
(DO NOT CROSS THE BRIDGE AFTER GOING THROUGH TILLER)

Continue on South Umpqua Rd. past Jackson Cr Rd and Bear Market. After you pass Bear Market start watching for Zinc Creek Road NFS#2980, I believe it’s about 13 miles, turn right across Zinc Creek bridge. After you cross the bridge make an immediate right into camp. (Look for sign)

I would fuel up in Days Creek as this is the last place to get fuel (gas or diesel) for a reasonable price.

Most folks will be monitoring CB channel 4. If you have any trouble ask Edna or Larry at Strong’s market in Day’s Creek.

We are expecting a GREAT turn out!!!!!

hey is don gilbert bob bro I whet hunting with bob gilbert he has one of my abby pups and we went hunting out by that bridge and on the way up we seen 6 skunks it was crazy but we treed a gray fox and a coon
