The Charlie Tant dogs I hunted with in the 7o' were good dogs. I was told that Charlie line bred for 3 generations then out crossed with Goodmans from Texas. His dogs were great cat dogs. Dewey

I run coyotes and fox up here in the winter. I have a friend in Ok that has had some of his pups go to guys running cats, they use running hounds on them in texas as well. There used to be alot of Goodmans in texas years ago but all those fellas are gone.

I will beat that little guy will flat fly when he gets a little age on him. nice feet I like the way he stands up on them. where did the merle color come from?

I think he is about 4 1/2mths in the photo. That coloring is called calico, it will come out every now and then on them as also glasseyed, but july's will have some also.
