In texas, I dont know, I would never pay for a guided hunt here, there are enough decent nice people that will take you out for free on dog hunts. Rifle or bow is something I wouldnt know about.

Are you sure that is what you wanted to say, your implication is that only people who take other people out for free dog hunts are decent and nice.

I can assure you that many of the people who charge for guided hunts with dogs are very decent, nice, hard working people who are just trying to earn an honest dollar and keep food on the table for their children. For you to suggest that charging money for a service rendered somehow makes them less decent and nice is about as good a way to pick a fight as I know of.

In no way with my response was I implying that people that charge for a hunt are not decent nice people, You dont see a-holes out there there taking folks out for free. I know alot of guides here in texas and California that are the nicest people you will ever meet and would give the shirt off their back for you. I have guided myself in California for bears, my response was like this why pay for something that you can get for free. I dont start fights, never have, I finish them. It seems on every board I have looked at there are always trouble makers trying to correct people and make them look like a-holes that dont know what they are talking about And so far this is another board with them.

I think mabye he bit your head off in part had to do with the fact you just made a comment. You didnt have any info in regards to the posted topic and simply made a statement that could be understood as an attempt to insinuate something. The question was do you know the rates for guided hog hunts in your area? If not, no real need to answer.
