need info on Wasthington St. hounds

Post by twist »

I am looking for info on a couple dogs out of Washington that were well known bobcat dogs the female was owned by Sam Dotson her name was (Mandy) and a male dog (Sam) owned by a Ceral Jolet not sure if spelling on these names are correct, they were both sold to Ed Anderson, and he had a couple litters out of these dogs just wondering if any one has any info about these hounds. Thanks

Ceral Jolet(I don't know how to spell it either!! LOL..) lives 10 miles north of me..

I've never met him personally or hunted with him, I know a few old timers that know him personally... I keep meaning to go up and introduce myself one of these days.. to meet him one day just to say hi.

I could get you the number for someone who does know him and probably could get you his number if you'd like..

Let me know.

Buddy

that would be great as I have never personally talked to him it would be great if you could ask some of the old timers if they knew anything about these 2 dogs as they were suppose to be nice cat dog. I have talked with Ed Anderson about these dogs as he owned both of them and was told by him what kind of dogs they were but was just curious to know if any one else knew of these dogs. I was told they were out of old blood lines that were in Washington, - Duncon, Blankenship, and Hammer lines these I believe were not registered blood lines just old stock lines of old houndsmen. any info would be great, thanks

I'll send you a PM of a Guy that might be able to help you.. Just remember I don't vouch for anyone saying anything about dogs.. Kinda like court.. If I don't see it myslef .. It's called hearsay.. So as long as you can understand that I'm just giving you a phone number and way to contact them..
