best bloodline?
I was just wondering what ya'll thought was the best bloodline of plotts? I'm looking for a bloodline that is known for mostly their rigging and trailing abilities. Thanks for the responses.

Best plott I ever had was straight from Dale Brandenburger. Have had many others that were also good from other breeders like Everett Weems, Roy Stiles and they were also good dogs. The bitch I got from Roy had more endurance than any hound I have ever seen. Didn't like the star mt dogs. The Dollins are good dogs but bigger than I prefer. Have pup now (7 months) that is 3/4 Dwanye Smith breeding 1/4 walker from a local. Dwanye and Dan luke are not big names except with people that really know the plotts but have breed some mighty fine plotts. So look local you might be surprised what you find.

Re: best bloodline?
I went to the lyndonville coon and cat club for the coonhunters reunion at end of july and got a pup from a guy named Church Tabor. The pup is from a couple dogs he got off of another gentelmen named Chris Fenoff. The dame is half walker half plott (smith breeding) the sire is smith breeding. Chris is a real nice guy I talked with him after I got the pup about the bloodlines because Church obviously had no papers. Anyway if you pm me I can give you their numbers. Church isn't really a breeder and Chris only breeds if and when he needs to.
