cougar hunting nevada

was wondering of some good lion hunting around wells nevada. I have access to the wood hills just south of town.Hunted down there for the first time last winter but was not able to get around.

there should be some cats in there in the winter.I haven't hunted it but I have been told a few times someone had seen a lion or track in there. Just be sure you are far away from the freeway so your dogs dont get ran over. If there is deer in there there will be cats.

Everyone has access to the Woodhills. The first lion I ever caught was in there, early in the season one year. Good advice on the highway, they cross the highway quite often when they are there. That used to be one of my uncle's honey holes back in the 70's. The first time I ever went looking for hounds was in there back then. Funny thing is we never found them, but they always made it home on their own. I think the homing instincts were a little stronger back then. Anyhow, good luck.
