Season doesn't open up here till November. The guys have been chasing the bears around though, that's for sure!

Li Freediver : The largest I have seen tagged this year dressed at 437 lbs .Certainly NOT by our crew
Several in the 300 - 350 lb range . On average the usual 180-225 lb range is the most common. Had a GOOD season Not great but Good Managed to stay away from the VETS office which is really good . My boy is trying to put the pressure on me to book a Grizz hunt in BC the next 2 years May have to come out of retirement and work at Wallmart being a Greeter to make that happen . Not sure if they will even consider a semi has been for that position or NOT

bob you might want to book a hunt down in NC from what i seen from some of the grizzlys guys bring back most are not that big sure they got big ones
you might want to head south you can bring your dogs and you got a good chance runnin some big ones with the right guide
you could run your dogs in the south .idaho ,and canada and still not be close in price to a grizzley hunt and u might get a clor phase
3 years ago in maine openin day a 425 on the ground i think same year they got one over 500 last week of season i just seen the full mount the other day wow
and you can cut down the time u gotta hang at walmart
what are ya thinkin

WeLL I am not sure what I am thinking
If you want a Big Badd Ass Bear you might as well go for a GRIZZLY . Not that we are tired of Hound Hunting Bears , But it is tough to figure out with the BC Canuck Govt when or if they will stop allowing Grizz Hunting . Something that is defineately on our to do list .Maybe instead of bringing in Wolves the state will start IMPORTING some GRIZZLY's
