There is far more cougar- panthers or mountain lion today than there was 40 t0 60 years ago in the western US. more are showing up back east and with the deer populations there panthers will find them. There will always be somebody that will figure out how to hunt them. Maybe it will be as easy as letting the dogs run them. We can only kill them on the property that they are doing damage on. That can be a small piece of land. A lot have been killed here by hunting it at kills catching the cat before it leaves the property. Silent dogs on a hot track will make short work on a cat. Dewey
