just wanting to learn more of oregon, for bobs

A freind and I are going to hunt down in oregon this year. Im trying to get a few ideas on where to go, and what the best time is. Sorry I havnt hunted cats a whole lot, but I know my dogs can catch them. I have read alot of the other forums, dont know what I need to know to help, is the day time better or is the night?? What about the weather better in snow or down lower, any tip would help

Find bobcat food you'll find bobs. Follow the bunnies. They are more populated near the coast but harder to hunt and it depends on your hounds, dry vs jungle. You need to pass a test to be legal and the limit in the eastern part of state is five. They must be checked in any you carry a harvest card. Don't know what you know but fyi.

I bought a "hunt only" license and it didn't require taking a test. I already had WA Hunter Safety and Trappers card so they let me buy a license but I am not allowed to trap. I hunt during the day mostly, but be careful and understand the laws, there are many differences with the use of lights and such compared to WA. As far as the snow thing, I try to stay out of it for the most part.

For the rest of the people and Joel that it may appear I'm trying to pick sides and there's some conspiracy cover up going on here. I garantee you that is not the case.. Here is the story.. This guy (i8588... or what ever his handle is..) has been a member for a while but not posted too much, he's just enjoyed the site like many on here do, He listed something in the classified section which was against the rules, and kept getting deleted. So I told him that he needed to get some posts under his belt before he could use the classifed area. Well He does what I asked, and then someone wants to turn his first experience into a pissing match... This is the problem that needs to be fixed and is the reason for tightening the rules.

I encouraged the guy to post and then to watch it get hi-jacked, I just don't think that's right and I hold some responsibility.. So I'm just trying to make it right by the guy that started the topic... Clear as mud???
