You are right Csn tail sams dogs are just what they are. some of the best dry ground dogs in AZ. right there in my book is Brent Bunger also. If i knew Randy Eperson better i would probably add him to the list. I just see his catches on the coues forums but do not know if he hunts in the far south heat and dry ground like You guys and Sam do. But i know his dogs are AZ dogs as well. I know that brent and sams dogs have been bred to be just what they want them to be. and probably not just made from one cross but many.

Another reason these guys have such great hounds is that they hunt ALOT. More in a year than most do in 5 or 10 years. When i was building sams house he had a beagle that was probably better than most hounds. Not sure on breeding but i know they trade dogs with Jr Murdock as well. Whatever breeding it is it works.
