question about the garmin dc20
I no the dc20 isn't good at all. And I don't have enough money for another dc30 right now. But I got a dc 20 laying around. So does the 20 work better when u get the harness for it. Or should just not bother with it. Thanks everyone for the help

Re: question about the garmin dc20
I know that I'm a minority here but.....
I run only the DC20's. I run my dogs side-by-side with dogs running the DC30's. I have no worse distance nor reception. My GPS signal on the collars is not as good, but it's not bad by any means either. I use them with the aftermarket antennas so that they hang under the neck of the dog.
I would use it and not lose a wink of sleep about it. If you don't want to use it, send it my way
I'd like to hear how a DC20 under the dog's neck is any different than a brand spankin' new DC40. I understand the "bells and whistles" aren't there, but the functionality is no different.

Re: question about the garmin dc20
I'm no expert. A couple years ago I hunted with some guys that used DC 20's with the long antenna and DC 30's together and it seemed the 20's worked just fine. A DC 20 is better on a dog that collecting dust.
