I'm sorry for your loss, and for your dog's suffering.

I know we're all sickened by the sight, and afraid to turn out on a track. We need to become more pro-active, I think in pressuring the feds to allow the delistment and hunt of these killing machines. I ask you, all of you, to write to your legislator, your goveroner. Send pictures of these kills with your letters and let them know that these wolves are overpopulating and killing not only (all) of the deer, elk and moose, but our 'pets'. If we don't scream louder than the wolf huggers, we won't be heard!

MAybe the land owners should post there land so that the wolves would know that, if they come on said land they will be hunted down and gut shot. This sign they posted over there is stupid. I lost a good dog to the wolf two weeks ago over here in Michigan. We don;t have signs yet that I know of.

The wolf reintroduction is a disaster of the higest order. The Canadians are still laughing at us for buying them in the first place.

FYI - I just watched a PBS special and scientists have been able to extract the complete DNA of a Woolly Mammoth. There are plans to use an African elephant as a surrogate mother. So what would be next?

My dogs are getting old now and I just don't have the stomach to get anymore pups. I would move, but to where. I am pulling my hair out over these wolves. With timber so thick here in NW Montana, SSS is not a viable option. It is going to something a bit nastier. A guy is gonna have to get dirty to even begin to make a dent. I happen to know some guys that are willing to get a little dirty. I hope you guys do too.
