advice on tracker maxima

Post by Conejos »

I bought this tracking system a couple years ago from a guy on here and it came all set up with collars and everything. Now I need to buy and add a couple of collars. What collars do you recomend and what frequency and how do you program the reciever for the new collar? I tried to look up the owners manual but it didn't really cover this topic. Any advice from someone using this same tracking system would be much appreciated.

Happy Hunting!

first off what system do you have a 1000, 3000 or 5000. I used that system for a while and it worked great but I have been using the garmin more so and love that. Thier strike collars work great as well as marshall collars work really well on them. I used a 219 freq has I knew to many people who had used a 217 freq and I do not want to accidentally track someone elses dog instead of mine.
