Attn. New Mexico hunters

Im looking for some hunters in NM that would allow me to tag along on some hunts. I'm not looking to kill anything or to bring any dogs. I've been away from hounds for a couple years and just bought 2 puppies to get started again. Since I can't hunt on my own this year I would just like to go hunting with someone that would be willing to let me follow along.

Hang in there David, keep posting and replying and sooner or later you'll get an invite to tag along. Houndsmen aren't a very open bunch, so asking out of the gate to tag along usually produces nada. sooner or later you'll chat with a few NM houndsmen and everything'll work out. That's how it played out for me.
In the mean time though, get a good book and dvd or two, and take your pups out anyways

Or I can start looking for a good straight dog to hunt. Unfortunately those dogs are usually not for sale.
That's why I'm starting out with pups.
