That's for certain!

Eric, get ahold of Dan Lay. He has the kind and is within driving distance of you.

If I were looking for dry ground lion dogs...

I would get a hold of DanV on here, and see where the Hagar / Big Shirley cross is and being hunted. I'd start there.

Or I may know of a couple other places to go. :beer

Take care.

Good luck with that one! :D
The fascination of hunting cougar with hounds lies in the discovery and unravelling of a complicated trail, watching an honest hound strike out on a track that has been found and read, and finally bringing the animal to bay so that you can see it for yourself---Jerry A. Lewis

I'd love to help ya, but before this gets to far out of hand I just want to say. there are probably way better dry ground dogs around, Alot of guys spend all the time on dry ground, I only hunt the fall and the tail end of the spring on completely dry ground. I catch a few, but some of these southwest drygrounders could probably make my dogs look like a bunch of mutts. lookin to make a 100% dry ground dog better look for somone that hunts 100% dry ground. not sayin a dog from me couldn't make the grade as a dry ground only dog, but I'm not saying they would either.
