I doubt anyone on here has even heard of him so you wont get much help. If you have hunted with him alot and his dogs are what you say they are then what do you want to know? I know of him but dont know much about his dogs. have seen some kids in payson in a parking lot selling some of his pups. I Pretty sure he doesnt have any kind of proven cross so surely the pup would be a toss up for turning out. jmo

i asked jimbo about the dogs inthe parking lot ,he said they were accidents out of a stray, jimbo only lets prestigious hunters end up with his dogs, guys like jim bedlion (hes got 5 of them)and they are pricey if youcanwork a deal with him , most of the time he wont sell them, he wont let anyone get a female and neuters the males ,its a damn strong bloodline thats works well for the right guys

So are you Jimbo Armstrong or what is going on here? You say you hunt with him and he catches game and has damn nice dogs and then you ask if anyone knows if his dogs are good. Then when someone throws a comment that he don't have a proven cross you jump in and say he has the best dogs that only prestigous hunters are allowed to buy! :?: Just don't know what you angle is here but good luck to you!

as far as a proven cross ,apparently you have never hunted with jimbos dogs (I Have) and they are awesome,he has 14 dogs that will flat ass grind on a lion track ,and run it to catch
it ,not ball around on it like some other hunters dogs in az( big dumb and blue)is not the way to go if you want to tree lion on dryground

sounds like you answered your own question. You seem to know more about them than anyone else. If they are as good as you say they are, you should be in good shape.

Plus they were selling the pups for 400 bucks i think so thats pretty steep for a stray catching one of his hounds.

redbone83,as far as im conscerned just come and go with us,but a lot of these so called sportsmen dont like anyone to go with them because they are affraid you might learn something from them and tree more lion than they do,I thought team ropers were crybabys, not as bad as some lion hunters

Thanks luckylqh, I might have to take you up on that sometime, I agree with the so called sportsman comment, people that think their better than everyone else or think they have such great secrets, dont have much time for em. Just go huntin and have a good time. You run alot a lion down there? Were hoping to go to Wyoming pretty quick, to try and find one!!!
