Re: Thanksgiving Lion
Jake is the treeing walker/black lab. Buster black-mouth cur 11months old. Buddy black lab/rott. I was out today again and on the way home my dogs all stoped and were looking down hill. Just a few mins before I had scolded Buster off a deer that was sneaking along becides the trail about 30 yards away. I could hear a deer blowing and then saw movment, two deer with a lion on thier heels! It was about 400-500 yards away. Dogs and me headed down and when we got close to the area they started running and sounded like they were hot on it. Two hours later still no cat and I finaly had to tackle Jake as he came past to get him to stop. I found some deer hair but no blood and the dogs were running around an area about 1/2 mile across. Maybe we get him tomorrow....
