"Houndn'em Bluetics" 12/7/10 cat

Post by houndnem »

Even when conditions are crappy you can always get lucky! Weather was in the 50's beutiful day out. found what I thought to be a lion track. it was so melted out you couldn't tell. dropped a few dogs on it. no snow exept up above us on the north slope, which happened to be right where the lion was hanging out! dogs grinded it out for the first 500 yrds then bam!!! the race was on and they treed 700 yrds from the other road. I had a client with me and we passed, but it was his first cat tree and he was wound!!!!!
