pups saved a life!!
pups saved a life!!
well the other day me and my roommate got home just before dark and let are two 5 month old pups out to run. they ran around the house for a few minutes and then started heading down towards the river. we followed them for a little while and they dropped their noses to the ground and started smelling around in a circle then started to pick up some speed toward the river. my roomate said this looks like blood on the ground! when they reached the river the little one opened up like i have never heard her before and down the river bank they went. after a couple hundred yards it came to a lil 3 foot cliff and the dogs stopped there and started making little circles and no blood was visible. a few minutes later they got the guts to go own it and continue their chase. shortly after the cliff they started going nuts and there was a lil black dog (one of our neighbors dogs) sitting there wounded so we grabbed the pups and took them back to the house. we headed to the neighbors house to let him know we found his dog and we grabbed some flashlights and headed back down there. we got to the dog and inspected it well most of the inside of his right hind leg was blown off and a small bullet hole on the outside the guy that lives below us obviously doesnt like dogs going on his property since we tracked the blood back to his land. well he takes it to the vet and they want 2500 to do surgery on it so he just signed it over to them and they will do the surgery and find someone who wants the dog. i guess the dog has been missing since that morning and i doubt he would have made it through the night would have died of blood loss or coyotes would have got him. well they didnt save a kid or tree a big tom but i was happy with it and so was the owner of the wounded dog well just thought i would share my story with everyone!

yea it was kinda cool besides the A-Hole guy that owns the proberty right in front of ours and apparently likes to shoot dogs and we have had other issues with him as well. the next day after this we went out and reinforced the kennels make sure there is no way the hounds could get out. gonna have to break the dogs off of running other dogs blood too lol

Now do your part for the dogs. Get the law in on this and don't drop it. That prick needs to know you aren't going to take this BS and let it drop. Let the law let him know that he is now being watched for animal abuse. If you don't get satisfaction from one source go to another. Let that bas***d know he has just sentenced himself to a life looking over his shoulder wondering when justice will be served.

Re: pups saved a life!!
dont think i can do anything bout it cus the dog was on his property and he had cattle on it so he can just say the dog was chasing his cattle and causing damage(but the dog was in a different part of the pasture with no cattle on it at the time and it is fenced off). the guy happens to be the old mayor of the town i live in so he has a lot of political pull its a battle i dont think i could ever win. although i did feel better when i came home the other night and saw his whole hay stack on fire (me and my roommate were both out of town so we didnt do it) karma is a bitch but im sure he made out well with his insurance. i will have to look into the laws but if his cattle ever get back on our property they will be in my freezer no more rounding them up and putting them back in his pasture for him.

If it is that serious to you I would suggest that, as you said, look into the law. You will likely find that it is your best interest to just let it go. You may have a cloud of suspicion on you already due to the haystack fire. Vengeance usually winds up as more trouble.
