old fashion black and tans

Post by oakridge »

My tanner dog who is now ten and aging put on a lot of long cold miles in the snow. I plan to breed him to one of my females when she comes in.

Guys I love the old fashioned black and tans. My best dogs went to Earl Gossett"s and Maple Hill Farms. Real hunting dogs and double tuff. I wish more folks would take a look.

When I have spent two days one the track of a lion and I wish I had a dog like old my Gunsmoke to show me the way. They gotta have stick when it's warm and the dust is blowing.

I too would like to know the breeding behind your dogs. You gotta love looking at a old time hound.

I have known Ed and Booby Kuester for many years and they may have worked harder than any one to maintain these old line hounds. There main focus was bear and bobcat. They are pushing 90 in years and no longer have the dogs but still love to go out and here them run.
