dog with hurt leg?

I let my dog out this morning and she was out for 2 minutes. then when i let her back in she was limping bad keeping her left rear leg well off the ground. she doesnt act hurt at all other than she cant get around as good. when i touch her leg i cant see any damage on the outside and i cant see any swelling or anything. My guess is she slipped on some ice while running. if its just a pulled muscle how long will it take to heel. if its not pulled what else could it be? i no this isnt the spot for this kind of post but i figure their is a better chance of getting an answer in this section.

thanks but i found out what was wrong and she,s all better.

I was looking at her hips and legs when i picked up her foot as soon as i touched her foot she went nuts and started yelping wicked. i took a closer look in the light and just see a tiny bit of a stick sticking out. i had my father hold her down and i pulled it out with pliers. it was about a thick as a pencil and around 2 inches long. i kant see how it wasnt coming out of the top of her foot. and it was STUCK. Big time.
