new redbone

Post by cox »

I just got a two year old redbone from a gentleman who has cancer and can no longer hunt the dog has been on a number of bear mostly last year as the owner was sick this season. I am going to use him on bear as well but am also going to try him on cats this winter I have never owned or hunted with a redbone before but so far I really like this dog he is a good looking hound and handles really well seems to be pretty smart and actually listens to me, any how Im just real excited about this new hound and wanted to share. How are these dogs on cats any info would be great thanks, Dan

One of the better lion dogs in my neck of the woods is a redbone. He's getting up there in years and has seen a ton of lions.
