Re: feeding game meat?
i cook up all the old meat in the freezer and put it on top of the dog food then pour the grease on too everyday in the winter. I like warm food in the winter and I am sure the dogs do too. I will only give them cooked meat unless it is a lion and i usually let them chew on a lion leg or two. Most of my litters of pups when they are old enough to get solid food their first taste of real meat is lion. Do whatever works for you. Dogs are carnivors and need meat in their diet.
I like my men like I like my mountains...... Rugged, challenging, and WILD!!!

Re: feeding game meat?
i have been feeding game meat for awile know and never had any problems, so all of you that feed dog food you should change your diets for them hounds they need meat, dogs are carnivores, not veggie eaters.
Re: feeding game meat?
I am just curious to the size of portions of meat you are feeding your dogs? With dog food and without. I have the opportunity to get some butcher scraps, thinking about trying it out.
Re: feeding game meat?
thats all I feed is RAW meat and rice/bread. (if I cook the meat I'm gonna eat it) as far as portions, each dog is different. if they start gettin fat cut them back
